BYRON
What to ExpectWUNJO is a gathering created to bring people together in a space of connection, reflection, and realignment with what it means to live in right relationship | with ourselves, each other, and the living world.
❋ Intentional StructureInspired by the essence of harmony, joy, and collective wellbeing, WUNJO represents the deeper fulfilment that arises when we move out of separation and into connection | not just as individuals, but as a community.
❋ Collaborative EnergyThis space has been created with a clear intention:
to listen, to learn, and to open pathways for more conscious and respectful ways of engaging with the land and with one another.
❋ FacilitationWe acknowledge that we are gathering on Aboriginal land, and that sovereignty was never ceded. We honour the Traditional Custodians of this land and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise that the knowledge, culture, and connection to Country held by First Nations peoples is not something to be spoken for | but something to be listened to, respected, and learned from.
❋ A Supportive SpaceWUNJO is not here to lead Indigenous narratives or define what is right for First Nations communities. Instead, it is a space for those of us who are non-Indigenous to come into deeper awareness | to reflect on how we show up, how we listen, and how we can engage in ways that are grounded in respect, humility, and accountability.
