Peace Lane (located in Byron bay hinterland) is about creating a bridge — bringing people, especially youth and children, together through shared experience while recognising that connection begins with respect, listening and relationship for all.

Likewise, our youth and children, have reciprocal opportunities to provide knowledge to others that participate, create, question, imagine and help shape what comes next.

These three principles provide the foundation for the day:

COUNTRY — caring for the land and understanding our responsibility as custodians.

CULTURE — honouring the pathway of belonging to oneness while creating space for the many cultures, traditions, skills and stories within our wider community.

CONNECTION — re-igniting the inner spark within all of us, that shows us our true authentic self to unify our network with others and communities so that co-creation grows through experience.

Peace Lane is not just an event. It is an invitation to experience what community could look like when we care for Country, honour culture, strengthen 

inclusive connection and different paths creating a brighter tomorrow - today!

We honour the First Peoples of the land on which we gather, and acknowledge Elders past and present, the generations who have cared for Country before us, and the young people who will carry culture, knowledge and responsibility into the future.

What to expect

Market stalls, adult and kids Workshops, Facilitators, food truck, music, sound healing, yarn circles, camping, mens and womens groups and more,
